Music. There’ll be a song, or maybe more than one song, that encompasses every shred of pain you’re feeling, and you’ll realise that you’re not alone.
Talking. Talking will help. Even just crazed babbling that makes you feel like everything is being literally poured out of you. Talk to me, talk to a hotline, talk to a friend, talk to somebody. I want you to not kill yourself. That means I can say with 100% certainty that someone here wants you alive. And I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Doing something amazing. You could kill yourself, but if you’ve literally got nothing to lose, why not jump on a bus/plane/train/get in a car, go on a roadtrip, and have an adventure instead? Take lots of photos. Maybe you’re a spectacular photographer. Maybe you know that already, maybe you haven’t discovered it yet.
I really, really hope I hear back from you today. Nights are the longest. Get through the nights, and you can get through anything. I’m going to post a few of my favourite secrets for you now, and I hope some of them make you smile, and I hope some of them make you feel like you’re not alone.
